Eyelid Aesthetic

Blepharoplasty, derived from “blepharo” (eyelid) and “plasty” (shaping), is the aesthetic surgery of the upper and lower eyelids. Sagging and fat protrusions in the eyelids can make individuals appear older and more tired than they actually are. The goal of this surgical procedure is to rejuvenate the eyes and their surroundings, providing a fresher look. Excess skin, muscle, and fat bags are removed and reshaped from the eyelids for this purpose. This surgery often includes procedures such as canthopexy (eyelid tightening) and brow lifting, which provide a smoother contour to the eyes and tighten the lids. Additionally, blepharoplasty can be combined with various other aesthetic surgical procedures.
